What Are The Good Carbs Fats And Proteins?

Many people don’t actually know what are the good carbs, fats and proteins they should be eating regularly. So often people miss their chance to eat healthy, when they unknowingly choose the wrong foods to eat. Don’t let this be you and learn how to choose the good from the bad!

First of all, not all carbohydrates and fats are bad. And some sources of protein also are not good for you, and you should limit how much of these you should eat, for example, bacon. Bacon has a natural source or fat and protein yet; it should be limited in one’s diet because of the effects of eating too much of these all though they are health.

Good Proteins Are:

Lean meats which have low amounts of fat and contain lower amounts of salt. Eating foods such as chicken breast, turkey and many types of fish are good sources of protein. While eating pork such as bacon, or sausages can also be acceptable, they should be limited to no more than one serving per day of about one pound of this meat.

Good quality protein can have natural fat like those from all sorts of nuts and seeds, yet too much fat even though natural is not always best for the body. Although, many new theories out there suggest that lots of natural fats are good, its excellent to limit your intake and focus more on leaner protein sources mentioned above.

Good Carbs Are:

Whole grains, stick to whole grains when you feel low blood sugar or hunger cravings. Eating a whole-wheat bagel or wrap will help control hunger urges and keeps your body from putting on weight. Whole grains are also a great source of fibre, and helps to low cholesterol levels.

Good Fats Are:

Eat nuts, fat from meat, seeds, legumes and beans. These sources of fat also contain protein, which helps control hunger, build muscle and keep energy levels up. However, they should be limited because you can still put on unwanted weight by eating too much of them.

Stick to the good carbs fats and proteins!

My Favourite Way To Diet: Feel Free To Steal My Ideas!

I just started a new diet this month are really excited about! If you want to get lean and lose some fat while preserving muscle, then you should feel free to steal my ideas from my favourite way to diet. This diet is somewhat of a challenge and will probably be different from what you are used to.

Hopefully, you will like every part of this diet and be able to stick to it for at least eight weeks until you have successfully lost the weight and improved your health. This diet is very simple to follow, all you really need to do is be smarter about what you buy when you grocery shop. So let’s get into it!

My Favourite Diet Preparation:
What you need to do is start with a plan of action, and writing out the foods you can eat. Make a list where you are aloud to put only one of each type of carbohydrate, dairy product that you are able to use for cheat food. Ensure that they are healthy like a load of whole-grain bread or brick of cheese.

The rest of the list should contain nothing but protein (meat, poultry, fish, etc…..), Veggies (Anything), Fruits (Anything). A variety of colours for your fruits and veggies is ideal, with meats being mostly low in fats.

Here’s Why My Favourite Diet Works So Well:

Now that you have an overview of what this plan actually looks like, you can write out your weekly shopping list. Make sure that you include enough healthy carbohydrates as your cheat foods which you can eat for fuelling workouts or first thing in the morning.

These healthy carbohydrates can be such things as bread, whole-grain pasta or even brown rice. Then when you select your cheat dairy product, you can select anything like chocolate milk, cheeses or yogurt. These things are perfect to eat when you want to keep your cravings at bay.

The idea behind this diet that is really great and simple, is that it works, and you can still manage your cravings. The thing about diets and why they don’t work, is because they suck!

When you want to lose weight and be able to eat some things that you like, then you will stick to a plan much better. This is why you are aloud to cheat, just remember to eat things in moderation and never overeat the carbohydrates or the fats all at once. Try and make them into smaller portions.

So I hope you enjoyed reading this diet! Feel free to comment if you like my favourite way to diet, and feel free to steal my ideas!

What Meats Better For You: Raw, Medium Or Cooked?

I was very curious about what is better for your health, eating raw meat or cooked? Is there a difference or should I not eat raw meat, for example? So I took a look into this subject and learned many interesting things.

The benefits of eating raw meats, for example, raw red meat when consumed contains higher amounts of vitamin B that anywhere else. So why is there much controversy about if it is healthy to eat meats raw like red meat and fish? Is it better or worse?

In my conclusion, I have found that eating any of these raw meats is actually proven by research to improve hormonal and reproductive health. Red meat is actually also proven to improve the health of your heart.

The obesity epidemic in the United States has been making issues about whether eating raw or red meats is the reason why. However, raw or red meat is actually not. It’s about the fast foods and convenient foods that are high in fat.

Red meat is actually low in fat normally if it’s lean and cooked well. Lean meats, whether red or not are very healthy for your diet, even though people have been saying bad things about it. Eating anything that can be eaten raw in a healthy was good too.

Sometimes people may be healthy even after eating over cooked meats, which isn’t always the best tasting. Even so, eating meats, so long as they are lean should not be unhealthy, unless they are stale or going bad.

So enjoy your sushi, steaks and raw fish eggs! There are many healthy properties in raw meats that actually are as potent after being cooked. Like raw oysters, they contain a high amount on nutrients and if they were cooked they would be less potent.

If you have any comments about this subject I would love hear you comments about this! Until then, cheers!

How To Stop Overeating While You Are At Work!

Many people don’t often prepare how to eat healthy and stop overeating while at work. This often turns into casual coffee bingeing when your co-workers do a coffee and donuts run or you end up running over to a fast food joint because they have your favourite burger on sale. See anything wrong with this picture?
Well since most people don’t pack healthy lunches and plan ahead, this doesn’t mean that you can’t be ahead of the pack. Rise above these unhealthy  routines and simply learn how to use the word “No” in your mind and in your reality. No matter what sort of stresses we have at work or the amount of time we have, there is a way to make sure that our health still comes first.
Stop overeating or unhealthy eating habits at work since they can become routine and ruin your life. Work related stress leads to overeating and therefore we turn to food to indulge our emotional stress. Don’t fall in this trap by packing healthy meals and healthy snacks for your everyday activities.
How To Stop Overeating While Your At Work
Packing The Right Foods
Most of the time when people pack lunches for work and get trapped into overeating is because they don’t pack a large enough lunch. Pack things like nuts, fruits, whole grain breads which are filling to keep your hunger at bay. Pack foods with high protein which will help stop hunger from forming.
Eating these types of foods will help you keep that hunger down and will stop you from overeating while at work. Also try to eat 2 lunches during the day so that you do get the urge to run out for fast foods by taking two lunches and eating at two different times of the day. Eat at least 3 hours in between each meal. Example (eat at 11:00 and at 2:00 if you work a 9-5 job)
Avoiding The Lunchtime Bureaucracy at Work
There is a lot of politics at work which are associated with lunch, staff meetings or other events which take place. So when the rest of the team goes for donuts or pizza, learn to say no and avoid that calorie crapfest. Be the smart one who has already ate their healthy filling lunch and decides to get a tea or water if the invitation for lunch requires attendance.
Eat 15 minutes before your co-workers want to leave for a fat dripping burger and say you were to hungry and ate lunch, but would be welcome to come along for a snack.
Leave the office, not felling like crap and full of energy since you ate healthy all day. We hope you enjoyed this post, leave some comments if you want to add your thoughts!

Here are the Ingredients:

  • 2 Eggs (Free Run)
