Want a few fantastic tips on how to eat better, which can improve your health, weight, fitness level and more? In my last eight years of training with bodybuilders, fitness models and athletic trainers…they all seem to have an overall general similarity which makes what they do so successful.

I would like to share 5 nutrition tips, and I guarantee you won’t learn everywhere else, and athletic trainer charges their clients for. Since I am giving this information away for free it would be great if you guys could share this post with your friends, like it on Facebook and subscribe!

Let’s get started on these 5 nutrition tips athletic trainers charge money for!

Tip #1 – Switch Out Your Beef For Chicken & Fish

Chick and fish are lower in sodium and normally lesser in fat content, which means softer on the liver and kidneys. Chicken and fish a like chicken breast and salmon are high in protein and much easier on the digestive system than red meat. So furthermore, these meats are safer and provide leaner protein and elevated sources of omega-3 oils.

People who eat more fish and white meat from chicken develop lean muscle while avoiding side effects like acne and constipation from eating beef. These sources of protein much better for you, so try to include these meats as the priority source of protein in your diet.

Tip #2 – Make Food In Larger Quantities

When you are cooking to be fit, you need to eat more. The additional calories your body burns the more food it needs to absorb the nutrients from for energy. Being fit is a lifestyle and keeping that lifestyle means you have to cook, and cook a lot!

Plan ahead when you eat your meals, so make all your frozen meat at once and use the leftovers for the next two or three meals. This saves you time and make it convenient when you want a quick meal before or after your workouts when your body is craving nutrients for energy.

Tip #3 – Eat Only Until Your Satisfied

This is very important for your body not to gain fat and use the nutrients you give it without store fat. Your metabolism increases when your body has digested everything and is left with no carbohydrates to absorb. Keep your internal fat-burning engine working by stopping to eat when you are full and satisfied.

When you eat the right amount, this helps your brain focus better and keeps your body actively wanted to consumer more foods every few hours. Thus, this will increase your metabolism, by letting your body manage the foods you eat more efficiently it won’t make you feel tired during the day.

Tip #4 – Stuff Yourself With More Natural Laxatives

Eat fruits, eat veggies this is great for normal fibres. The natural fibre your body digests the better your digestive system will work and the less intestinal problems you will encounter. To keep a healthy digestion eat a variety of these foods every day.

Tip #5 – Eat More Oils

Eating oils like Omega 3s and Omega 6s will do a variety of healthy things for your fitness. Everything from increase brain power to better skin, these oils that come from fish or nuts will make your stronger. Keep a variety of these types of foods around the house and try to eat at least one serving a day of them.

Being in the best shape of your life is not easy, but I have learned over the last eight years of my life that a couple of things that always help me get back to awesome shape. These 3 fitness tips are very powerful and will help anyone who feels out of shape much better if they consistently use them daily.

The fitness tips I would love to share with are things I noticed over the last eight years that affected my success with my workout goals the most. So now you can enjoy these great fitness tips yourself and add them to your daily life just by reading and following my blog, it’s greatly appreciated when you share my content with your friends and subscribe your emails…so I would like to take a moment to thank you all for making my fitness blog a success.

Now, let’s get into the 3 fitness tips that will forever change your workouts!

1. Nutrition Is Everything: Eat Lean Meats And Lots Of Colourful Foods

It’s like they say, eating the colours of the rainbow is good for you. Which is why it’s very important to make sure that you eat plenty of vitamin and nutrient-rich vegetables and fruits. Eating the colours of the rainbow not only gives your body the variety and complete balance of proper vitamins to avoid any deficiencies, this also impacts your success with your workouts.

Working out is like a science; it includes a formula for greatest success with your fitness goals. When your body get’s all the essential minerals and vitamins, it can do and function better than it would with any vitamin deficiencies. And alone, multi-vitamins are not the answer.

Eating right will also keep your muscles strong, support them and burn off wanted body fat….

Eating colourful nutrient-rich foods will help your immune system do better, muscles repair and grow faster and help keep your body strong with things like a healthy heart and tough bones.

2. Reading Resources To Improve Your Knowledge Is Important

I love to read up on nutrition, new workouts and fun exercise moves. Having the variety in the gym is super important when it comes to success and keeping yourself motivated with your workouts. We all get bored sometimes right? However, if you take a moment to learn something new that will advance your workouts you should set aside some time, such as, 15 minutes every day to read an article in Men’s Health Magazine or Women’s Health Magazine.

Reading fitness tips from other guru’s and following fitness blogs and person trainers on Facebook have made me more aware of how far I can take my fitness level. And the same for anyone who will take the time to learn how to advance their routines and exercise moves to keep challenging themselves to grow.

3. Learn From A Master: Expert Advice From Trainers Is Everything

This topic is very important, friends and people who motivate you and your mood. I know when I felt hopeless and hated days I was working out in the gym, my positive athletic-minded friends had my back and get me motivated again. This is what everyone needs, positivity and encouragement often.

What better way to advance your fitness by learning from masters and making friends with them? This is exactly what I did in the first few years starting out in the gym, I chatted up the staff. Soon, I became friends with a handful of personal trainers and learned how they lived and all their secrets. Now I feel amazing at all the things I can do and surpass them with all knowledge I have learned, and you can too!

I hope you liked my 3 fitness tips that will forever change your workouts! Please remember to comment, like and subscribe your emails for more updates from Fitnesstroop. Cheers!

Hey Fitnesstroopers! Feel like getting a really good leg workout? Well, I have perfected this leg workout that I have worked on for a while and would like to share it with you all…

First, the routine starts with about a ten-minute warm-up on the stair master, followed by some great stretches to get those legs nice and loose. This perfect leg workout has taken me a long time to get right, so I hope you enjoy it!

My Leg Workout:

Jumping Squats

Since you need to improve your balance and get your muscles conditioned when you start a leg workout this is the best move to start with. Basically, you are just jumping high into the air into a squat position and then do about 12 to 15 repetitions, and do three sets.

Heavy Squats

So now I head into the most important exercise of the entire leg workout, the Barbell squat. I usually start with about forty-five pounds on each side of the bar. Then I move up in increments of twenty-five pounds until I have completed four sets of 10-12 reps.

Jumping Lunges

Now for balance challenging jumping lunges, these will get your entire lower body working hard. I love the jumping moves because they make the heavy weight movements much easier. I do about three sets for 30 seconds each.

Reverse Lunges

Few people do this move and rarely include it in their leg workout routines. All the more reason to use this move and build stronger legs, increasing the challenge is important. I do normally three sets on each leg, with about thirty pounds in each hand.

Side Lunges

Even more stimulating and rare to see people doing is the sideways lunges. This is very challenging but if you can do three sets of 15 repetitions with about 15 pounds in each hand, that would impress me.

Standing Calf Raises

Not to forget those calves, I just finish off with three very heavy sets of calve raises 15 repetitions each. I will start with about 250 pounds and get up to 400 pounds. Depending on your limit try to go as heavy as you can on the calf raise machine.

Do you have any other suggestions that you can add to this routine? Leave comments below!

Want to be more effective in the gym with your workouts? If you are tired of trying to lose weight and looking for a way to improve your Sixpack, don’t give up, there are ways. The many ways to help lose weight and improve your stomach area is to use weights in your workouts.

Few people understand that weights can help you gain lean muscle, while losing fat and carving a leaner body. Keep reading and we will go through ways on how to transform your workouts into body forming sessions that any top-notch fitness trainer would be proud of putting their stamp on…

Lift Weights While You Are Standing Up

This method is very helpful for gaining a nice stomach and carving a perfect Sixpack. For example, when you are doing shoulder presses with dumbbells, do them standing rather than sitting on a bench. This method will help tone your core and get your body working harder to stabilize itself.

Do High Intensity Repetitions

If you struggle using weights, don’t worry that won’t be for long. Pick up some moderately weights that you are comfortable with and make sure you do your sets faster and rest for shorter periods of time in between. When you push your body to move quicker you are sending more triggers to your muscles to respond and grow, this helps your body break a sweat increasing your heart rate and burning fat.

Do Fast Positive And Slow Negatives

This is very helpful for improving muscle development which in turn increases fat loss. While you are doing an exercise, move quickly when you are doing a positive motion of any exercise. Then, while doing the negative repetition, go slowly and do a count of two Mississippi.

Use Weights On And Exercise Ball

This is the perfect way to multi-task and carve out a lean Sixpack, perform as many exercises as you can while on an exercise ball. The weight you are holding while performing everything from chest press to shoulder press forces your core to work. The more time your spend on a ball, the better results you will have with getting a nice stomach!

I just love using pre-workout supplements! I can’t ever see myself working out with without them, I must have to say I am addicted.

Over the last eight years that I have been using supplements I have stuck to only a handful of pre-workout supplements that have worked the best for me hands down.

Since most people who use pre-workout supplements have a one or more than one favourite, it’s really all about preference. Some people choose products that just work for them better than others; this could be anything from the taste of the product or the effectiveness of their workouts.

No matter what product is your favourite, keeping using that same product that works the best for you. Since some of my favorites may not be your favourite, I would still like to list off my top 5 favourite pre-workout supplements.

1. SUPERPUMP 250 or SUPERPUMP MAX

By far my top pick, this supplement provides long lasting energy, extreme mental focus and muscle pumps. I have found that this one works the best for me because it’s basically all I need, the workouts I get give me the optimum resutls everytime and the pump and vacularity last the longest post workout. The taste of the Superpump 250 or Superpump Max is very good also and goes down smooth. Favourite flavour is the fruit punch!

2. NO SHOTGUN

This supplement was the first pre-workout that I ever started with and took it for almost four years. This supplement tastes very funny and is not as effective as its previous formula. The new formula after 2008 was altered, and I notice a significant lack of energy and muscle pump. However, still one of the most popular products, it will stay on the top of this list.

3. M1R

Very new on the market this product delivers a extremely good punch to your training. It’s easy to get great workouts with this supplement because of its great formula, the creatine and ingredients are high quality and easily one that worked well for me.

4. NO EXPLODE

Arguably, one of the most popular pre-workout supplements of all-time, it didn’t reach the top of this list because I found that you needed to take more than one scoop to get the same level of effectiveness than taking other products like Superpump Max. This is a very good-quality product which is probably the best tasting and easiest to mix. I found this product to not be my number one choice because of how potent one scoop of other products like Superpump Max are.

5. JACKED 3D

This is a really awesome product; it comes is small container and can pack a punch. However, I found that after using products like Superpump and M1R, the power of this product couldn’t measure up, so I would use more than one scoop. I also prefer how other supplement sizes have approximately 40-50 servings when Jacked 3D has about 30 servings.

Do you have a favourite pre-workout supplement? Leave your comments if you have any favourite supplements that you use often and really like and why….

So, you want abs that you can grate cheese off of huh? Well, its going to take a lot of work but in a few short weeks you can be on the road to having the best-looking abs on the block…

So how can it be easy you say? Since most of us who eat a lot and put on weight, find it is impossible to get them. The truth is, you haven’t learned how to train your habits well enough so that you can get away with eating the foods you love while still burning fat to keep your abs looking ripped.

To do this you need to learn the basics of metabolism and muscle development around your mid-section. This is simple. First, the more sugars you eat the more fat will hide your sexy abdominal muscles. Second, the less you keep active during the say and avoid slowing down so that your body stops burning fat cells.

You can accomplish these things by eating the right things to keep up your metabolism, burn fat and shred lean stomach muscles. Let’s get started with how the diet should work for you…

Eating The Right Foods

Since you probably haven’t learned how to eat for this type of goal. It starts with sugars, things such as complex carbohydrates, which convert into sugars that keep the stomach area the same. Avoid the sugar to avoid the stomach fat staying, quite simple. So if you avoid eating such things as carbonated beverages, anything other than whole grains, you won’t see many results.

Anything artificial has to go, just remember if it didn’t come straight from the earth, then you shouldn’t be eating it. Complex carbohydrates were created by man and should not be consumed by him…

In addition, remember that fats are equally important and not bad for you, natural animal fat actually helps the body to remove toxins and promote good health. These are excellent in moderation and can be very beneficial for muscle development and weight loss.

Keeping Your Metabolism High

This is where sitting on the couch and driving to work play a critical part in the demise of your path to abdominal glory. The metabolism of your body is like a furnace; you need to heat it up to keep it burning. Remember to add plenty of metabolism boosting methods to you daily routine. Here is a blog post called “12 Ways How To Boost Your Metabolism” it about ways to increase your metabolism and keep it high everyday!

Abdominal Workouts

Remember that the abdominal muscles are very tiny and get tired like the rest of your muscle groups. If you stick to working out on them no more than three times per week, then you should develop strong muscles. The nutrition part is the most important part for revealing them; it does not take long to grow the muscles themselves. Let them rest enough to recover, then work the hard again.

Do you suffer from wrist pain or a sore joint? Healing this problem can be a simple routine if you take the time to help repair the damage area. Sometimes the simplest answers are the best ones for healing this type of injury, yet they are painful and hard to treat because the wrist moves just about every time you move your arm.

Ideally, it is smart to take a bit of time to prepare yourself with some procedures to recover the injury fast so that you can get back to regular life! Here are five steps that you can take below which are easy and can help you on the road to recovery from your wrist pain or sore joints:

Ibuprofen: This anti-inflammatory is great for temporary relief of joint pain and helping to reduce swelling of the injury area. If you suffer from large amounts of pain, it’s best to take extra strength tablets of this right away and continue taking the pills often for pain relief.

You can get ibuprofen for extremely low-cost from your local pharmacy, so this is a very good way to approach healing the injury immediately.

Heat: A great way to help the injury if it’s not currently swollen, is to heat the injury by placing it in heated water or wrapped with a hot towel. Then after heating for about 10 minutes, switch to ice. Repeat this method to help speed up the recovery process.

Ice: Ice is more specifically for inflammation and to reduce the swelling so the painful area can recover. This is good for you to do often if the injury persists, ice will help reduce the injury more efficiently that without using any ice. Purchase an ice pack which can be wrapped around your wrist, icing it frequently every day.

Bandages: Some bandages are better than others; some wrist straps are specifically designed to speed up recover of wrist pain or sore joints. These will provide support for your wrist if the pain if consistent, giving support to everyday function like lifting objects.

Compression & Elevation: Elevating the injury area is also great for speeding up the recovery process. For bruising, swelling or any internal bleeding adding compression will help relieve pain and inflammation as well.
Try all of these methods and get that injury healed, enjoy!

Having a great fitness application for your mobile devices these days is almost second nature. Since mobile devices have now allowed us to take our fitness on the road with such things as calorie counters and personal training buddies, having the best apps is key!

Do you like keeping track of your workouts, calories burned or even just mark down your goals to losing weight? One of the coolest if not the smartest way to do all that is with a multi-functional app that you can get for free, which will help you do these things.

For example the “Calorie Counter” by Fat Secret on the Blackberry and the “Calorie Counter & Diet Tracker” by MyFitnessPal on the I-Phone and Android. These applications are the perfect tool to help you keep up with your fitness or weight loss goals on the go.

Here are 5 reasons why you should download a free calorie counter app today:

Reason 1 - Imparts Wisdom

Many of these types of fitness and health apps complete with a full database of everything to do with being healthy. The normally contain a complete database of what foods to eat, what foods to cook and how to make the healthiest meals to watch your calorie intake.

Reason 2 – Free

Not to mention some really great applications are actually free, what can be better than that. Personal trainers and person nutrition guides can cost a lot of money, and here comes a long good ol’ technology to save your bank account.

My take on this subject is that working out is much better for a specific time during the day than others. Generally, for myself, I enjoy working out after my second meal of the day, this way I have lots of energy and can get the best workout I can.

The reason I work out about an hour after my second meal of the day is because of a few reasons. First, we need to take a look at the biology of how fitness and nutrition works, mainly for my type of fitness and goals. I work out about 5 or six times per week, this way I use the best methods I can find for keeping up with this routine.

Here are some of the reasons why I like to work out after eating my second meal of the day and which is why I suggest this is the best time of day to work out…

Burns Calories All Day Long

After your workout earlier in the day, for example, after lunch, your body’s ability to burn fat and keep burning fat stays stronger. Your body burns most of its calories during the earlier parts of the day. That way, you are in better shape to burn fat and keep of any extra weight that you don’t want.

After your workout, your metabolism is higher, keeping your body’s engine rev’d up to burn off more and more fat.

Uses The High Spikes Of Insulin

After your second meal of the day, your body will have a full tank of glycogen and insulin to use for an intense workout. Normally, your body will use up all the nutrients from your breaks fast meal to repair your body and muscle tissues from the day before. While you sleep, your body also converts these nutrients to feed your muscles and recover.

While your body sleeps it uses up all those nutrients, then by the time you eat your first meal it will use up all of those nutrients to fill up once more. This way after a second meal, your insulin levels are elevated increasing energy and ability to grow muscle and work out more effectively.

Muscles Are Repaired

The first meal is mostly used to recover the body, and the second meal if better at growing new muscles. So it always seems to me that I do not have enough energy from the first meal to get an intense workout. After the second meal, my body feels much more recovered and can work out best!

Do you have a favourite time of the day to work out?
