How many cups of coffee are you drinking at work? How many times have you eaten that cupcake or piece of candy that you really know you shouldn’t have had? This common problem happens to the best of us, even top fitness models and trainers. It’s called will power and self-realization.
How long does it take use realize we are really doing something wrong and then correct ourselves; some people are better at this than others, I am afraid. However, that doesn’t mean that you can be like the rest of the population and not notice bad habits before you start to notice a drop in your health.

It’s tempting to go to that work party our out with friends for a night of fun, but then that develops poor eating habits if we aren’t careful. Use a plan and strategy to combat these influences and keep yourself on the path to better well-being and nourishment.
Some Simple Tips How To Plan Success For Better Eating Habits
Only Choose Whole Grains
When you have not choice but to order a meal at a fast-food place or your corner store, remember you can also save your nutrition by saying, “I want whole wheat to go please.” So the next time you are at the local Subway on your road trips with friends, get a foot-long on “whole wheat” bread and save yourself!
Having something like a bag of nuts, protein shake or a bag of baby carrots on hand will save you more times than you know. When you’re starving and people offer you an unhealthy snack, or you simply notice some junk food while you are out, this will save you from regretting bad decisions later.
Only Lean & Green
Remember that you should have about 2/3 of vegetables as part of every meal you eat to get good nutrition. If you aren’t eating lean and eat enough greens, you are going to have a one-way ticket to feeling like crap. Make sure to get a least some veggies into every meal you eat, if it’s not at least half of the meal.
Say No To Beer
Drink whiskey or low sugar drinks like vodka my friends, sugary drinks and ones which are high in carbohydrates like beer will make you fat and break down muscle tissues. Drinking drinks that are not good, but better on the body can help you make it through those days when you fall off the wagon and binge.
These are the questions that many people ask themselves when they want to get a workout in during a busy weekday. So is it better to work out in the morning or after work for the best results possible? The answer really is both!
Both times are really great for everything, which includes weight loss, muscle growth, muscle toning and increasing energy levels. Being active no matter what time of the day will be worth it, you can still get the same results you want no matter what time of the day you wish to train.
Does It Affect My Mood?
Since working out, any time during the day will release stress, help reduces inflammation and eases sore joints its good any time during the day. So if you are worried that working out early during the day may be easier for the body, try to get a workout in during the morning if you want to improve your mood throughout the workday.
Does It Affect My Sleep?
Working out first thing in the morning can really help with sleeping habits, making your body want to rest after a long day in the evening. However, since working out such as running and jogging at night helps many people also sleep it’s pretty good either way. The only thing that would affect your sleep would be to over-train or stress your body out with too much caffeine or stimulants like pre-workout supplements.

Ever tried to drink Lactose-Free milk? Did you like it or did you hate it? I just discovered new allergies this year and found out one of them is milk or dairy products.
I have never had this problem before so now I’m interested in finding a alternate source for things like milk and cheeses. My allergies aren’t serious and are very mild but I thought it was worth checking out other products.
I went to see what I could find, and I found this new Lactose-Free milk. It looked the same as just about any other milk products from its colorful packaging. But I wondered, is this going to taste like crap?
So I tried purchasing a one liter carton and drank it for a post workout recovery one day as I left the Good life fitness I was visiting. The taste was delicious! I was shocked!
The taste was very pleasant and smooth. It was just like drinking milk all though I didn’t think it was actually milk.
I drank the entire thing in under a minute. Then I threw away the carton and never read the ingredients. Do you know what Lactose-Free milk comes from?
If you do, I am encouraging you to comment and tell me more. Or if you are lactose-intolerant, what products do you use?
An interesting recent study shows that man seem to have more weight gain after divorce and women after marriage. This interesting study because this means that women are just letting themselves go after getting married and men are depressed after divorce and forget all about their health.
Why do marriages effect Peoples weight gain so much more than anything else on the planet? It is very interesting however how different genders seem to react more to specific elements of marriage. Why do people’s emotions get the better of them and destroy their body’s?
In most cases this study which was done showed that the weight gain for men after divorce and women after marriage was not life-threatening. But this kind of weight gain can effect the quality of life for these people however.
“Divorces for men and, to some extent, marriages for women promote weight gains that may be large enough to pose a health risk,” Dmitri Tumin concluded. Tumin was a correspondent who responded to this study done by the Ohio State University.
It seems that women have a larger job around the house with chores and activities where they suffer from more weight gain. This makes exercising less possible with the little time for the women of the house hold to maintain their health. The studies showed that men do benefit from marriage because of the women taking care of these responsibilities while men suffer after divorce because they are not spoiled by a wife’s labour!
Guess we have some really lazy men in this country who marry wife’s that are similar to work-horses. So look at it this way, marriage must be about team-work if each-other’s fitness can survive. People over the age of 30 find it harder to maintain their weight, so the risk of these factors will increase with age.
The shock of marriage impacts older people rather than younger people, which cause more permanent weight gain. Just shows that fitness is important to keep up at any age and at any stage in life, otherwise you are stuck in a bad situation which can be unhealthy.
Do you know anyone who has been affected by marriage and have had some serious weight gain?
Supplements Rock! Whether you take a supplement for more energy or to grow muscle, we all have our favourites! Supplements I am very fond off are like %100 Whey Gold Standard or SuperPump Max, which I don’t think I could live without! What are your favourites?
Everytime I workout, I normally mix about 1 too 1 and a half scoops of Superpump Max and then drink about 12 ounces of water. Without this ritual I don’t think I would ever have the same amazing types of workouts that I do without my favourite supplement.
So if I was a billionaire, for which I am not. What supplement would I love to have a lifetime supply off? Hmm…this is tough because if I had my favourite whey protein everyday, I think I would be in the most amazing shape. Health overall is what is important and nutrition is number one when it comes to how in shape and healthy you are. So I would recommend the %100 Whey Gold Standard for myself!! Yippee!
There are so many great supplements that I would want a lifetime supply of, this is so hard! Thinking about how much I would benefit from my favourite multi-vitamin Mega Men Sport, would be extremely important so that I stay healthy and able to enjoy fitness more. That being said, I don’t think I can choose now that I think deeper.
Maybe I could have a lifetime supply of them all. Now all I have to do is find out how? Does anyone know of a contest where they are giving away a lifetime supply of these supplements please let me know and I will share it with you if I win!
Do you have any favourite supplements that you would want a lifetime supply of? Leave a comment below and share your favourite supplements and vitamins with everyone!
After having a very funny conversation about how all the local gyms I visit I realized that they have fat and out of shape staff. And I was like, seriously? Why would I want to take advice or get trained by a personal trainer who is fat? Would you?
I don’t understand it…these big mega gyms seem to hire people who are good with people for their sales team. Yet the people they hire often look like they have never been to a gym in their life! And wouldn’t they be motived if they worked at a gym to be in great shape…it just doesn’t work!
If a three-hundred pound trainer came up to me and asked to train me, I still wouldn’t even let him train me for free. I don’t understand, is it because most gyms pay their reps minimum wages and just get anybody they can find to sell their memberships.
Personal trainers are supposed to be the picture of physical fitness, how can you get motivated by someone who has a beer belly. I am not going to be impressed if someone who is a personal trainer and is in worse shape than me, like I should be giving them my advice!
I am in great shape normally, and stronger than most men out there who are my height and weight. Since I can actually train someone, I still feel superior than most people who I see who work at gyms.
So just a word of advice out there if you are a personal trainer or want to become one, please try to look like one! The real issue probably is the club owners do pay their employees very little and don’t always get the most fit employees and take what they can get.
If you notice this often in your local are with your gym, then I want to hear from you! This is really a funny thing, and don’t know why gyms don’t take this more seriously. After all, isn’t image everything? You can’t lead by example if you’re not look like what you are selling.
