Forget Abs: Workout While Your Standing Up!

People forget doing so many different abdominal workouts and exercises and work your core and abdominals while your standing up! You get a great abdominal workout from doing exercises while standing up, avoid working so much on your core.

Abdominals are like any other muscle, they need rest and recovery to grow. Abdominals should never be worked more than 2 or 3 times a week. You will sculpt your abdominals much easier more effectively if you workout other muscle groups while standing up.

Most people don’t know this secret but if you work your arms, back, shoulders, legs or pretty much anything else while standing up you will see results. Since your core muscles are being used to balance your body evenly without falling over, they get a workout in the process.

So if you doing a shoulder press move on a bench machine while sitting down, consider standing with a bar or dumbbells instead of a bench. The same concept apply’s to doing bicep curls or leg machines, instead replace these exercises with lunges or squats to work your core.

You will notice the more challenging the exercise you do while standing up, the stronger your core will get. The more flexible and strong core, the stronger the abdominals.
