Why Should I Take A Pre-Workout Supplement To Grow Muscle?

Many people are on the fence about taking any pre-workout supplements because they contain many ingredients that normal people don’t really know about. Pre-workout supplements however are very safe and mostly contain ingredients like creatine, caffeine, nitric oxide, sugars or ginseng.

All this ingredients help stimulate massive muscle growth effectively for those who want to grow more muscle. Creatine delivers more water to the muscles to expand while caffeine provides energy and the nitric oxide gives your muscles increased blood flood and pump to increase growth.

Many factors are important for muscle growth and pre-workout supplements intensify your results by delivering mass amounts of essential building blocks for your muscles to grow during a workout. Even the sugars and ginseng are helpful in muscle growth and improve your energy and endurance in the gym.

Although taking pre-workout supplements regularly can be expensive, but once they become routine for you it’s hard to weight train with out them. Many people don’t take enough food and hydrate enough while taking pre-workout supplements and that’s something you really need to watch if you’re considering taking one.

Pre-workout supplements are massively effective in muscle growth however and should be considered very important in your training. Without them the work will be harder and prepare to have sore muscles after every workout if you intend to train very hard or heavy.

Benefits of Pre-workout Supplements

  • Increase Muscle Recovery
  • Muscle Pumps
  • Endurance To Keep Going
  • Energy To Build Muscle
  • Reduces Muscle Fatigue
  • Increases Mental Focus

Although many pre-workout supplements differ, some are better than others of course. But what you should expect from a pre-workout supplement is that you will get long-lasting energy, increased mental focus and the ability to push your self harder and farther.

This is why so many athletes and body-builders take pre-workout supplements is that they keep you working hard to build muscle longer, improving results.

Taking a pre-workout supplement can sometimes be a little tricky, you might get one that your body will not respond to or have a sensitivity to. What you can do is to test the different types of pre-workout supplements with sample packages or singles.

Be cautious when you take a pre-workout supplement for the first time, take less of the required serving amount and see how your body reacts. Caffeine can sometimes really effect people, since some of the pre-workout supplements contain a large amount try to avoid the ones that have caffeine if sensitive.

I remember be super sensitive to Gaspari Nutrition’s Superpump 250 for a period of time because my diet was poor. I wasn’t eating enough carbs and rehydrating enough so it messed with my sleep and gave me some anxiety.

So be very careful and watch out that the product your using doesn’t cause you any problems. Like the runs or gitters from the caffeine.

But since I got used to taking pre-workout supplements for years now, I know not take them if my diet is poor and only take them if you have eaten enough food beforehand. Learning how to take supplements is just as important as any part of your training, the more of the story is to take them seriously.

  5. I totally disagree… I think there is a problem if you need to rely on a pre workout drink to get motivated to go to the gym. 99% of the pre workout drinks are not tested to the point, as to what long term damage they cause. What happens when after taking months or years of pre workout drinks and then one day decide you have had enough of wasting money? Your mind and body wont cope, you wont have the willpower or energy to do a workout on a a bottle of water. Get real Buddy , sometimes good old mind over matter is better than stimulants playing with your brain. Ive tried pre workouts sure they give a kick for an hour or so but hardly lifted much more than without, sleep was crap, crash was crap, not worth it. I get more acheivement out of doing a workout on a cup of coffee and a babana and then a protein drink after.
